Tobacco Cigarettes vs E-cigarettes: Which Is The Healthiest?
Cigarettes excite and disgust me at the same time, but we all need them, don’t we?
Scientists have been searching for many years (!) for an alternative to tobacco cigarettes. Now, we do have some sort of solution, and it is called “The E-cigarette”. The rise in popularity of e-cigarettes has been spectacular, especially for teenagers. Pretty weird if you know that e-cigarettes were created for people to help them stop smoking. That’s why I’m confused by this. If we start smoking e-cigarettes (also known as “vaping”) instead of tobacco cigarettes, is it still healthier or not?
E-cigarettes can be smoked with various substances such as nicotine or marihuana. The device uses a battery that heats up the liquids one may choose. The heat does not burn the toxins. In contrary, it burns the chemicals into a steam which the smoker inhales. The toxic substances remain present. So, what makes vaping better than tobacco cigarettes? Well, there are benefits to e-cigarettes.
Firstly, you can choose which substances you want. Secondly, you can choose HOW MUCH you want from that substance. If I were to smoke two packs of tobacco cigarettes a day for a period of 10 years, and then I switched to e-cigarettes with the same nicotine percentage as before, I could slowly reduce my intake to 90%, 80%, and so on. After some time, I will be on 10% of the amount that I smoked before. All that without noticing it too much, because I continue to inhale as much as I did before, just the percentage of toxic liquids has gone down. On the other hand, e-cigarettes will never be considered as the first choice for smoking cessation. The risks and the consequences of vaping should be strong enough to warn people.
Starting to smoke e-cigarettes can cause a lot of damage to your lungs and body, because you are breathing in the steam and the toxic substances as well. Your lungs aren’t used to this in the first place, since you have never smoked before. This can lead to serious consequences. If I can give you an advice: never start smoking in any way or form.
